We gave 10,000 days of schooling to children in India to celebrate our 10,000th opening.

Waitrose & Partners at The Galleria Al Maryah Island is the 10,000th brand Vindico has delivered in 65 properties across three continents. 

For a business defined by getting shops & restaurants open in shopping centre and airport projects, it's a significant milestone.

To celebrate, we have given  10,000 days of schooling to children in India to launch 'Opening Opportunity'.

We are excited at how the next 10,000 openings will shape the reinvention of the retail real estate industry, and how we can work with our partners to deliver more opportunity of education as businesses for good.

Vindico is a part of the
B1G1 community.

In 2007, a group of small-business owners had an idea. They asked, “What would happen if we all gave back just by doing the things we do every day?” It was a question that deeply inspired them. Three years and a great undertaking later, they were able to design the systems and processes necessary to make it work, and their dream is now a reality.

The initiative was originally called Buy 1 Give 1, backed by the idea that companies would make a giving impact with each designated business transaction. Today, the B1G1 initiative has more than 2,600 businesses from around the world—each making significant impacts every day. B1G1 is a social enterprise and non-profit organization with a mission to create a world full of giving.

Unlike conventional giving models, B1G1 helps small- and medium-sized businesses achieve more social impact by embedding giving activities into everyday business operations and creating unique giving stories. Every business transaction (and as a result, the business’ day-to-day activity) can impact lives.

By working with B1G1, Vindico has access to projects aligned to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Global Goals.  We believe passionately in the value of education and have chosen to give to projects that deliver the opportunity of education, simply by doing what we do as a business, every day.
